Product Description of Polyphenyl Ester FC-101

FC-101 is a kind of whole aromatic polyester with superior abrasion-resistance, self-lubrication property, chemical resistance and heat-resistance. It is also named as Ekonol, POB, PHB, OBP. Its main chain contains p-oxygen benzoyl repetitive structure unit and presents yellow to brownish-yellow crystalline powder.

Molecular structure

We supply FC-101 with average particle size from 6.5 to 100μm.

Application of Polyphenyl Ester FC-101

FC-101 can be blended with PTFE to make packing sets, compressor ring sets, “O” ring seals and rotors or vanes of process pumps. Alloy works best under environmentally tough conditions where wear resistance, dimensional stability and corrosion resistance are critical.
